Founders & Management

Zeev Farbman

Co-Founder & CEO

Zeev had planned on a career in academia, studying computer science for his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and eventually his Ph.D, all at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Since founding Lightricks in 2013, Zeev has grown the company by developing 11 content creation apps, establishing four international offices, and hiring over 600 employees.

Zeev is an expert in photo image optimization, has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in the field, and is a frequent contributor to publications on the topics of tech, start-ups, using a bootstrap model, the creator economy, and computer imaging. When he’s not at the office, you can find him scouting out the next best oyster or sushi joint and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Nir Pochter

Co-Founder & CMO

Nir grew up in Ramat Gan and went on to serve in the Anti-Aircraft Division in the Israeli Air Force. With a Master’s degree in computer science and a focus on artificial intelligence from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Nir creatively leads Lightricks’ marketing department, whose efforts have been showcased by both Facebook and Instagram as case studies for success.

Nir loves the people he works with and if he had more free time, he would spend it playing computer games, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and gardening.

Nir lives in Jerusalem with his wife and daughter.

Yaron Inger

Co-Founder & CTO

Yaron has been interested in programming from a very young age. At 18, he joined the Israeli Defense Forces where served for 5 years as a researcher and developer in the 8200 intelligence unit. Immediately after his release, Yaron studied for his Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, which was quickly followed by a Master's degree in computer science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

While pursuing his doctorate, Yaron felt that he had the opportunity to make a big impact working in the tech industry, which led him to found Lightricks alongside his fellow co-founders. Today, Yaron is the company’s CTO, leading the tech department of over 150 developers and researchers.

Outside of tech, Yaron minors in “foodie,” meaning he’s passionate about cooking and great restaurants. He lives with his wife and children in Jerusalem.

Amit Goldstein

Co-Founder & COO

Amit began his career in 8200, the Israeli army’s elite intelligence unit, where he served as a commanding officer. After the army, he moved to Jerusalem and studied computer science at The Hebrew University, where he completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and pursued his Ph.D, until he put his studies on hold to found Lightricks.

Amit is an avid sports fan, albeit in the wrong time zone – he’s known to wake up in the middle of the night to watch American football and NBA games.

Daniel Berkovitz

CPO

Daniel grew up in Tel Aviv, and served in Israel’s 8200 intelligence unit. He graduated from the first cohort of the joint program of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design & The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, receiving a double degree in computer science (B.Sc) and visual communication (B.Des).

Daniel majored in typography, type design, and interactive design, and spent a semester at The School of Visual Arts in NYC, as a part of an excellence student exchange program. Post graduation, Daniel interned under Peter Bilak, a leading typeface designer, in The Hague, Netherlands, where he won the TDC NY award for excellence for their joint project.

In 2014, Daniel joined Lightricks as a UX designer, went on to lead the Facetune2 app as product manager, and in 2021 was appointed Chief Product Officer. He holds a Fellheim award for typography as well as awards from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation. In his free time, Daniel enjoys ceramics and swimming.

Shaul Meridor

CFO

Shaul was born and raised in Jerusalem, and holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Economics and Political Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Shaul has dedicated the majority of his career to civil service, starting his career in Israel’s Ministry of Finance, serving as the Director General of Israel’s Ministry for Infrastructure, Energy, and Water. In 2017, he was appointed as the Head of the Budget Department in Israel’s Ministry of Finance. During his tenure, Shaul led many important reforms in transportation and export.

In August 2021, Shaul joined Lightricks as CFO.

When he isn’t working, he can be found spending time with his 4 children and watching soccer, specifically Beitar Jerusalem.

Noa Rosenberg-Segalovitz

VP HR & General Counsel

Noa grew up in Ramat Gan and served in an elite unit in the IDF. After her service, she received her LLB and B.A. in economics from Tel Aviv University and an LLM in corporate law from New York University. After graduating from NYU, she joined Covington & Burling. Noa spent almost 15 years in corporate law, eventually making Partner at Goldfarb, Seligman & Co.

In 2018, Noa was appointed VP General Counsel of Tnuva, Israel’s largest food company, and in November of 2021, she joined Lightricks as General Counsel where she serves as part of the company’s executive management. As of January 2023, Noa also leads the company's HR department. During her career, Noa was recognized on ‘TheMarkers’ most promising 40 under 40 list.
